01Melting & Casting
Silver and copper alloys are melted and cast in-house under controlled conditions, giving us full command of chemistry and ingot quality from the very first step.
2 × 20 kW resistance melting furnaces
Our Capabilities
We control every stage of contact manufacture — from melting raw silver through to recovering it from scrap. That means fewer hand-offs, tighter quality control, and full traceability of the material you receive.

02Extrusion shapes silver alloys, graphite tips and anodes into dense, uniform profiles, maximising material density and consistency.
600 T horizontal & 400 T vertical presses
03Hot and cold rolling convert cast stock into precise sheet and coil, with controlled thickness and temper for downstream forming.
4 × 2-Hi rolling mills
04Cast and rolled stock is drawn down to precise contact-wire diameters, ready for forming into rivets, tips and profiles with consistent dimensions.
40 ft draw bench + 2 bull-block machines
05Controlled-atmosphere furnace brazing joins contact tips to carriers with strong, repeatable bonds — the foundation of our brazed assemblies.
Mesh-belt brazing furnace + torch station
06Solid-state diffusion bonding fuses silver contact faces to copper carriers atom-to-atom — joining dissimilar metals with no filler — producing the strong, low-resistance interface in our overlay buttons.
Special-purpose machines, no filler metal
07Dedicated machining for silver-graphite components handles this specialised material to tight tolerances without compromising its properties.
Purpose-built SPMs for silver-graphite
08An in-house tool room gives us fast tooling turnaround and tight control over die and fixture quality, so custom jobs move quickly from drawing to production.
Turning, milling, welding, wire-cut, heat treatment
09Our laboratory verifies silver purity and alloy composition on every batch, so the material that leaves our floor matches the specification exactly.
ASTM / ISO methods, in-house
10Microstructure, hardness and bond quality are assessed to confirm the right grain structure and oxide distribution for reliable switching performance.
Micro-Vickers, microscopy & conductivity
11In-house silver recovery reclaims precious metal from process scrap, protecting your costs and closing the loop on material traceability.
